Almost there; one year anniversary. And three more pounds to go. Well, I would like to lose more, but my goal RIGHT NOW is to get below 200#.
I got the Wii Fit last week. Lemme tell you, it is no sissy game. Especially for someone as out of shape as I am. I didn't realize how bad I was until I attempted the "simple" yoga poses. I have no strength whatsoever in my right leg. And I thought that was my dominant leg! I cannot balance on my right leg to save my life. I have more balance and control in my left leg. I did the lunges (ow) and the push ups with side planks (ow) and the basic step. I worked up a sweat and got my heart rate up. And felt like an IDIOT for being so out of shape. The more activities you do, the more you "unlock." So you get "rewarded" for your hard work. I get excited when I actually beat my kids' scores! LOL

Month ten - 210
Well, that was a first. I shit my pants. I know....TMI, thanks for sharing, I'll alert the media. Thank GOD I was at home. I just didn't get to the toilet in time. I can't imagine what I would do if I was out and about....Like DISNEYLAND! Or at work! Or waiting to pick up my kids from school. Or any other activity I participate in! Imagine the looks at Target? Or one of those infamous family parties I end up attending?
It wasn't a lot. But enough to humilate me in front of myself. And clean up is always fun. Reminds me of potty training my kids.
Lost 136 pounds. 210 and holding. I can see my target. It is so close....eleven more pounds and I can pick a new goal.
After this week, I am glad I had WLS. Even after crapping my shorts. My mother (with Type II Diabetes) was hospitalized with a cellular skin infection. Her poor face swole up. And her blood sugar shot up into the 300's. I was pre-diabetic before surgery. Glad I took care of that.
